More pictures! This first one was taken on Wednesday night, my first night at the conference. During which I missed Lost. (Never fear, though. I got caught up on it this morning. ;-) ) Anyway, Jenna Black took this picture, and I could have sworn we got one with her in the shot too, but I guess I was wrong. Pictured below is the first of many group shots of Miriam Kriss and her clients. Next to Miriam (with the fabulous curly hair) is Vicki Pettersson (who's just as tall and gorgeous as I expected), me, and Keri Arthur (our beloved agent's very first New York Times bestselling author, and one of the nicest, most down-to-earth writers I've ever met.)
I enjoyed every minutes spent with these ladies. And with Jenna, who told the most amazing true story I've ever heard. I won't repeat it all here, but if you ever get to meet her, you have to ask her to tell you about the time she was flown out of Africa (Mali?) in a two-person plane by a famous smuggler. The story also involves missionaries, French nuns, hippos, and a broke 16 yr. old girl traversing the continent on her own. Seriously.
This is Jennifer Armintrout, Jim Butcher, Vicki Pettersson, and Jeri Smith-Ready talking to fans between panels.
Above is Keri Arthur and the mound-O-books she signed at the book fair on Saturday.
Above is Jennifer Armintrout doing the same.
And finally, another shot of Vicki. Talking. I just knew she's love this one. ;-)

LOL. It was Zaire, but you were close. You can actually read the whole story if you want--there's a link on the Bio page of my website (www.JennaBlack.com). However, it's not as funny in its written form as it was that night. (Or maybe it was just way too late at night and we were all slap-happy.)
Sounds like a fabulous time!
SOunds like a lot of fun. I love it when writers get together.
I especially love how the date stamp is smeared right across that poor woman's ass in the last picture. *snort* I ended up with her boob in my Rachel Caine pics. A bit unfortunate, to say the least.
Sounds like you had a brilliant time. All of you. :-)
I put up our pictures from Disneyland and the concert on my blog. So you can see what you missed while you were away. ;)
We had fun for you!
