Last week was difficult. On Monday, my best friend's dad died after a long stay in the hospital, so I did some babysitting for her (the world's most adorable 3 yr old). Then, on Saturday, she went with me to Brooke Taylor's book launch (Kim is the photographer who took her author pictures. And mine. And some for a couple of other Oklahoma authors. She's really good!), where I got to introduce her to Rinda!
It was awesome! Kim took this picture of me with Rinda, on my new phone. Believe it or not, I'm wearing actual makeup in this shot. Weird huh?
Anyway, things have just gotten really crazy at Chez Vincent (for some non-writing reasons), and they won't calm down until December. Except that then I'll be Christmas shopping and panicking over the deadline for YA3. And preparing for my Feb. 1 release.
So I may be hanging out online a little less for a bit.
Or, maybe not. 'Cause my new phone has an awesome internet connection, and I can do all my MySpace, FaceBook, and LJ stuff on it! Not so much with blogger, though. ;-(
