We're officially less than 2 weeks from the release of My Soul To Keep, and books are already shipping from most online stores and have been spotted on several shelves so far. So I'm thinking it's time for another giveaway...

Hi Rachel! I noticed that you said this isn't released yet and the clock says 7 more days.
However, I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday and I saw My Soul to Keep on the shelves. Did you already release it to B&N?

Authors aren't actually the ones who release their books. Publishers do that, and the books generally ship a couple of weeks early, and most bookstores will put them on the shelf as soon as they come in. So copies will usually appear as much as two weeks early.

I was just sorta confused on that part, and slightly worried that maybe they weren't supposed to be on shelves yet. :) I'm a book-a-holic, but I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to the workings of book publishing. Thanks for explaining!
