I really believe deep down that Jace said that to Marc and it's funny because I'm rooting for Marc all the way but it amazes me at the change in Jace and I like it. He is becoming his own man, more Alpha. It shows a new bad-ass status for him which was Marc's role in the beginning. Love it and can't wait.

One of the things I like most in the shifter series is Faythe and she is a really strong woman.

When reading shift I got so emotionally involved when something sad or happy happens I get that sinking or uplifting feeling in my chest. I think this quote holds so much power and sets the scene for alpha. So excited!

- has to somehow include Jace right? And that's why its my favourite, I hope Jace's humour is intact in Alpha and then I'll be happy no matter what.
But its still torture waiting for the book.
Out of all the teaser lines so far, my favorite is "You don't have to marry an Alpha, Faythe. You're going to be an Alpha." I'm not sure who says it, but for me, it sums up the heart of change in the Shifters world and the books as a whole. It's easy to get swept up in all the love issues and forget essentially this is about Faythe being different and embodying important change for her world.
A strong, though flawed female protagonist is what made me love the series and the line just reminds me why I got invested in reading first of all!
I'm brand new to the blog world but I'm not new to loving your books.

Faythe goes from the adult who had to be babysat at college to a the potential leader of the group. It's very women-empowering. Great to read a character that has so much growth through the series, yet stays true to herself.

It would be interesting to be in this situation. Having more than one person to want to spend the rest of their life with you because of who you are. Faythe may have to deal with a lot of shit but she's lucky to have found someone who is willing to fight for her, more than one person. lol :)
