The official release date for My Soul To Steal is January 1. Usually books get shelved early in a lot of places, which is what I expected. Except that according to Chapters (Canada), Amazon and Barnes & Noble, today is the official shelf date for MSTSteal. Which would be awesome, except that Amazon says it is ALREADY OUT OF STOCK! How is that possible?
To further complicate things, Borders, and Books-A-Million list it as a December 28th release and still have it up for pre-order. As does The Book Depository (international shipping) and Mills and Boon Australia, which lists it as a Jan 1 release.
So, to make this long story a little shorter: Sorry, but I don't know when My Soul To Steal will be available. Maybe today. Maybe Dec 28th. Maybe Jan 1. Your only sure bet for today is Barnes & Noble in the US and Chapters (Indigo) in Canada.
And...
To add just a teeny bit more to the confusion, I've just discovered that Mills and Boon (Australia) is releasing Prey in AU with an altered version of the US/Canadian cover from Alpha. I have no idea what they're planning to do with the Shift and Alpha covers down under, but I can't wait to see them!

I was confused too when I saw the Prey Australia cover, I was like 'Ha?' especially when they were put next to the smaller USA editions of Prey and Alpha...I personally wished they kept the original Prey USA picture for the cover. Oh, and the Pride cover was changed around too, first it was advertised as the picture of the girls stomach with the piercing, then when it came out it had just the girls face. I like the first idea for the Pride cover too. -lol
MSTS is available in borders stores. The online indicator said 12/28 when I checked Monday and Tuesday but yesterday two of the stores I called have the books. I picked up mine as soon as I got home! :)
I work at my local Waldenbooks (owned by Borders) and we received copies about a week ago. I haven't got to it since I was in the middle of exams-from-hell a week ago. But I picked it up tonight! :)
well the thing is (according to my local bookstores) these books aren't widely known around here.
so they are WAY behind on the releases of the books compared to the US, as for the actual cover I'm not sure why they did it, But if you have the time to look every cover so far except stray are an altered version. though most are altered from the original covers
