Yesterday I posted the first sizable excerpt from BLOOD BOUND at the Deadline Dames site. Click here to read it. The book isn't up for pre-order yet, but it should be soon. The book is scheduled to be released September 1, 2011 in the US. I have no information on possible foreign releases yet.

Quick question about writing I didn't see on your FAQ. When you sent in your query, did you include a copyright to your work? Or is it one of those "good faith" things? I've heard multiple answers on both sides, but none from published writers. If you could answer this for me, that would be absolutely wonderful. There is absolutely no need to copyright your work, and in fact, that can look like an amateur move to prospective agents.
And anyway, your publisher will copyright the book when it's published. In your name.
Okay I just got done reading the soul screamers series, including My soul to Lose and Reaper, is there gonna be another book?
I loved the excerpt!! Can't wait for the cover reveal (and the actual book release, of course... but I've got quite a while to wait for that! haha)

There's a "Blood Bound" by Patricia Briggs listed at Amazon Canada. Is it safe to reuse a title?
Titles cannot be copyrighted. Many, many, many books and songs have the same titles. There are other books out there (other than mine) named STRAY, ROGUE, PREY, ALPHA, and MY SOUL TO TAKE. Happens all the time. ;)
