Last night after I finished my wordcount goal, I watched Burlesque. I admit it, I'm a sucker for "country mouse goes to the city" kind of stories. And I think Christina Aguilera's voice is beyond amazing. So it's no surprise that I loved the movie. And I also may have made the mistake of suggesting on Twitter that I could fantasy-cast the entire Shifters series using only Burlesque actors.
Alas, I was wrong. There are no children to speak of in the movie, so Kaci went uncast, as did Karen, because I couldn't find anyone who fit the bill for her. But here's what I came up with:

Katerina Mikailenko as Faythe. I don't think I've ever seen her in anything else, but I think she'd just about do it!
Not my top choice of all-time, but Michael Landes as Marc. To be fair, I tried to find a shirtless picture of him, since Jace is showing a little skin below, but the only one I could find of Michael shirtless also showed him in his underwear, and...well...he didn't look to be in mid-shift, so that felt inappropriate. ;)
Possibly my favorite choice of all-time, Cam Gigandet as Jace. Can't you just see it? I can totally see it. In HD.
Eric Dane as Greg. (I know he's a little young, but with that gray streak, he just looks the part!)
And possibly Sarah Mitchell as Manx.
Alas, I couldn't find roles for Christina Aguilera, Cher, or Stanley Tucci (one of my favorite actors EVER), but I am considering writing one for Tucci. Even if it never sees the light of day.
So, I (kind of ) met the challenge. Anyone else feeling brave? What movie could you cast the entire Shifters series from?

I can't picture anyone for Faythe but the book cover model. She will always be my Faythe.

We tought about the same Greg! And I'm a Marc girl but you understand that with a Jace like that I couldn't be indifferent... :P
As a member of Team Marc, in order to do a proper assessment of Michael Landes for that role AND considering how much time the character spends shirtless, I believe it necessary to studiously analyze that photo you mentioned but did not post, Rachel.
Alas, despite my efforts to thoroughly vet Mr. Landes for this important fantasy casting, neither Google, Photobucket, or IMDB yielded the necessary results lol

That's a good cast. I can't think of just one movie, but I do have a couple of actors that I think would do well...Nina Dobrev (vampire diaries) as Faythe and Jensen Ackles
(Supernatural) as Jace.
I recently saw the movie Burlesque too and I loved it. And I think your cast is a great one. I think Kristin Kreuk would be a good Faythe. Adrian Grenier for Marc. And Jordan Hudyma for Jace. Btw, I love your Shifters Series. ;)
What an amazing cast! I LOVE Cam as Jace but I find him way hotter than Marc's actor so that's a problem....or not. ;)
I am going to have to do some SERIOUS thinking on this one. I do have to second Jensen Ackles as Jace though. And as I am in love with Ian Somerhalder, how about him as Marc? But, I really just wanted to say how DEVASTATED I am to see Alpha was the last. I spend my days counting down until the next book. (Sigh)
I don't know about movie - but what about Vampire Diaries, they did amazing casting that one and they would all fit VERY nicely with the Shifters!! Except Elena is a little too well mannered for Faythe but the rest fit!

I know this was cast from the actors from Burlesque but i do have to say that i dont agree on the actor as Marc. I cant see any one as Marc apart from Jason Momoa. I mean he can be/play/looks strong, charming, loving, Sexy,dominat,could kill in a heart beat and just by looking at him you should know not to mess with him!and so on. As soon as Marc stept into the books i saw Jason! In my head he is Marc!
